Hyperpigmentation/ Sun Damage

The cause of Hyperpigmentation/ Sun Damage

Hyperpigmentation/ Sun Damage

Hyperpigmentation, including sun damage or "sun spots," occurs when certain areas of the skin become darker than the surrounding skin due to an increase in melanin production. Melanin is the pigment responsible for giving color to the skin, hair, and eyes. Sun damage is a common cause of hyperpigmentation, but there are also other factors that contribute to its development, such as, Sun Exposure, Aging, Hormonal Changes, Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, Skin Type and Ethnicity, Genetics and Trauma.

Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle can't contract. That makes wrinkles relax and soften. Botox is most often used on forehead lines, crow's feet (lines around the eye), and frown lines.
